1. Overview
CHUNKZA AI ("we", "us", "our") operates chunkza.com. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and the controls you have. We designed CHUNKZA AI around a simple principle: your data is yours.
2. What we collect
Account data you provide directly (name, work email, company). Source documents and corpora you ingest for chunking. Usage telemetry about pipeline runs, chunk counts, and feature interactions. Communication data when you contact us.
3. How we use your data
To operate the chunking pipeline you configure, to provide the diagnostic panel and retrieval replay, to secure and audit access, to provide support, and to improve the product. We do not use customer document data to train any model, ever.
4. Data training opt-out
We never train on customer documents, chunks, or embeddings under any plan. No opt-out is required because no opt-in exists. Aggregate, de-identified usage metrics may be used solely to improve product reliability.
5. Data retention
Source documents and derived chunks are retained for as long as your workspace is active and removed within 30 days of account closure or upon your request. Telemetry is retained for up to 13 months.
6. Sharing & subprocesses
We share data only with subprocessors required to operate the service (cloud infrastructure, email delivery, analytics) under GDPR-compatible data processing agreements. We never sell your data.
7. Security
Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256). Access is least-privilege and audit-logged. Enterprise plans support SSO/SAML, SCIM, role-aware metadata, and VPC peering.
8. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact privacy@chunkza.com to exercise any right.
9. International transfers
As a Singapore-headquartered company serving global customers, your data may be processed outside your country of residence. We rely on appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses, for such transfers.
10. Changes to this policy
We will notify you of material changes by email and by updating the date below at least 30 days before they take effect.
